The rainy season in Zambia has fortunately started well this year and it looks like it will continue in the coming months: an encouraging prospect after last year’s catastrophic rainy season.
People have planted their corn and it is thriving beautifully. The landscape has suddenly turned green and the cow herds are finding their food again. The reservoirs are slowly filling up, so the lack of electricity will soon be a thing of the past. Hopefully, the corn prices will also fall soon, so that the economy will get the necessary impulses.
