After the extension and renovation of the toilets and showers, the entire sewage system of the school is back in working order. The only thing missing was the replacement of the sewer pipes of the houses of the school employees, which had been out of order for several years. This meant an increased health risk, especially during the rainy season.
Contractor Thomas Phiri completed the work in December 2019. It comprised 1300 m of pipe, 12 manholes and 44 WC connections. The costs amounted to USD 19’000.
