Banji Lumamba (†4.11.2011)
A month ago Banji Lumamba, teacher at the Namwala High School, was killed in a car accident. As a member of the Namstift Committee he was jointly responsible for our well-being when we were in Zambia. It was always very nice to spend time with him. He leaves behind his wife and 4 children. Everyone who was in Namwala remembers him as a likeable and a helpful person.
The former Zambia travellers and some pupils of the Stiftsschule have joined together and collected money for Banji‘s family to finish the house that he was building. By letting this house they have enough money to cover the elementary cost of living.
